Strategic Planner
Cure Media is the leading influencer marketing agency in the Nordics, awarded Influencer Marketing Agency of the Year and ranked as the third best tech platform globally.
We deliver measurable results for world-class brands such as Sephora, Philips and L’Oréal.
We’re looking for a Strategic Planner to own the early phase of the creative process: defining the right problem, uncovering the real insight, and setting a clear direction that drives both creative excellence and business impact.
This is a key role at the intersection of Insights, Campaign and Creative, where you turn data, human behaviour and cultural signals into sharp briefs, strategic frameworks and inspiring creative territories.
You will report to the Insights Lead and play a central role in shaping how we work with insight-driven creativity across the agency.
About the role
In this position, you are responsible for ensuring that all creative work is built on a clear problem definition, strong insights and well-defined business objectives.
You will…
Own and develop the front-end creative process — from insight development to creative briefing
Define problem formulations, business objectives, KPIs and success criteria
Translate insights, trends and data into strategic entry points and creative direction
Develop high-quality creative briefs (audience, messaging logic, tone of voice, formats, channels and mandatories)
Act as the strategic bridge between Insights, Campaign teams and Creative
Ensure a clear strategic red thread throughout the entire creative process
Build and maintain frameworks, playbooks, templates and planning models
Contribute to client pitches by defining core challenges, target audiences and strategic direction
Help embed an insight-led way of working across the organisation
Who you are
You’re both analytical and creative — someone who brings structure to complexity and turns insight into action.
You have…
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Strategy — or equivalent
Several years of experience in strategic planning, insights or creative strategy
Agency experience within advertising, media or a similar environment
A strong ability to translate data, culture and business goals into inspiring direction
Experience collaborating closely with creative teams and senior client stakeholders
Excellent presentation and strategic storytelling skills
A self-driven and proactive mindset, with the confidence to take ownership
The ability to challenge perspectives and push work further
You bring a broad strategic perspective and don’t see yourself as limited to one discipline or channel.
Your toolbox
Deep understanding of social and digital platforms
Experience with social listening tools and Google Trends
Familiar with native platform tools and ad managers (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat)
Strong analytical mindset and ability to turn facts into actionable ideas
Fluent in English (Swedish is a strong plus)
Benefits and practical details
Competitive salary, insurance and pension plan
6 weeks of paid vacation per year
Generous health and wellness allowance
MacBook and iPhone
Annual conference trips
Start date: According to notice period
Location: Stockholm, Birger Jarlsgatan
Working hours: Full-time
We look forward to receiving your application as soon as possible, but no later than March 12.
